Read, Right, and Run Marathon

Welcome to Sappington's blog page related to the GO! St. Louis Read, Right & Run program! Students who sign up for RRR will read 26 books, do 26 good deeds, and run 25 miles from the beginning of October through the end of March. On the second Saturday in April, students will run the final 1.2 miles of their "marathon" at Forest Park with all of the regional schools that participate in the program. Students receive a tee-shirt for being in the program, and then also a medal and race snacks for completing the final run. We host an optional one mile fun run every few weeks in the mornings here before school starts to help them out with their mileage. Students will get a journal at the start of the program to track their progress. The program cost is $20 per student, or $8 for those students on the Free/Reduced Lunch Program.
